This isn’t your typical nutrition program! This challenge is all about building a sustainable way of eating that will improve your quality of life while allowing dietary flexibility. Everyone is different. The goal is to give each individual the tools and skills to figure out what works best for them. As we go through this challenge, you will learn about nutrition, but mostly, you will learn about yourself. It is a behavioral and knowledge-based approach with daily tasks to be able to make small changes every day and build awareness. Most nutrition programs focus only on what you eat, here we also focus on what triggers you to eat in an unhealthy way and find a solution to correct it.

My Three-Phase Approach

Every 30 days during the Challenge, you will have a different nutritional focus. This way, you can make gradual steps toward change rather than trying to jump in all at once.

PHASE 1 (DAYS 1-30)

In this phase, you will focus on food quality and macronutrients and will learn how to put a balanced meal together. I outlined focus points for each of these 30 days to help you implement small, gradual changes so you can achieve any and all body composition goals or performance goals you may have.

PHASE 2 (DAYS 31-60)

In the second phase, you are going to increase focus on food quantity and will put some personal calorie restrictions into your plan, so you have something to follow. It is crucial to know how much goes in your body, and it will open your eyes into why some foods that you think are healthy might, in fact, not be the best choice. Again, in this phase, we will keep implementing a daily focus to build more awareness. We will also talk more about triggers and emotional/stress eating. You will play with the quantity prescription of your meals for the remaining eight weeks, so you can find what works best for you. This is a very personalized approach, so it might take a little while to figure it all out. Be patient. Again, in this phase, we will keep implementing a daily focus to build more awareness. PHASE 3 (DAYS 61-90)

During this phase, we will build on phase 1 and 2 and implement some timing for our food. We will play with some intermittent fasting to see how this option and type of eating can help you or might also be the right alternative for you. There are tons of benefits to intermittent fasting, and as we are trying to build a sustainable way of eating, we want to see if this is a good option for you.
